Artemisinin is a sesquiterpene lactone drug with peroxy group extracted from Artemisia annua, which has the  high efficiency, quick effect, clearing heat and relieving heat, eliminating deficiency heat, killing protozoa and low toxicity.

Application
Artemisinin is more effective than other artemisinin-based drugs in reducing plasmodium intracellular asexes.
