Application
Carboxymethylcellulose calcium is a disintegrant with adhesive properties. Has a rapid water swelling ability. It is suitable for wet granulation and powder direct pressing process; it has good compressibility, and it has good dissolution improving performance especially for cephalosporins due to its good chelating structure. Due to the presence of its calcium salt, it is particularly suitable for cardiovascular drugs that limit sodium salts. Typical dosage: 0.5-5.0%, the maximum usage can reach 15%
It is also a thickener; a binder; a non-tacky dispersant; a collapsing agent. The maximum amount according to the Japanese regulations is 2% (total amount when used alone or in combination). It is used for the formation of soup powder. When it is dissolved, it is swollen by water to promote collapse and dispersion. For solid and powdery foods such as cocoa powder, instant coffee, and powdered refreshing drinks, it has the effect of promoting dispersion and dissolution in water. Add 1% to 2% to chocolate biscuits, which is not easy to stick to the teeth and improve the taste. This product absorbs water and swells, and does not digest and absorb after taking it. It has a full feeling and can be used as a weight-adjusting food.
