What is Sodium Trimetaphosphate  ?

Sodium trimetaphosphate is a chemical substance having a molecular formula of Na3(PO3)3, a white crystal or a crystalline powder. Soluble in water, sodium trimetaphosphate can form a composite compound Na3P3O9 H2O2 with hydrogen peroxide. This peroxide is easily decomposed, and if a very small amount of heavy metal is present, it can promote its decomposition. It is usually prepared by the sodium dihydrogen phosphate method and has a wide range of industrial uses.
