Introduction of Dicalcium Phosphate
Dicalcium Phosphate, white monoclinic crystal powder, odorless and tasteless. It is usually in the form of a dihydrate (having a chemical formula of CaHPO4·2H2O) and is stable in air. When heated to 75 ° C, it begins to lose crystal water to become anhydrate, and at high temperature it becomes pyrophosphate. Soluble in dilute hydrochloric acid, dilute nitric acid, acetic acid, slightly soluble in water (100 ° C, 0.025%), insoluble in ethanol.

Usage |
1. Widely used as polishing agent in dentifrice, to enhance the taste of toothpaste and decrease thrill without damaging the teeth. It's compatible with other anti-caries ingredients such as sodium monofluorophosphate and sodium fluoride. 2. Used as a leavening agent, dough conditioner, a nutritional supplement and an emulsion stabilizer in the food industry. Can be used in baked products as a leavening agent, or as a compound bread and fried food improver. Also used in biscuit, milk, cold drink, and ice cream powders as a nutritional supplement or quality improver. |
