What is Docosahexaenoic Acid  ?

Docosahexaenoic acid, also known as DHA, is a polyunsaturated fatty acid essential for the human body and contains more fish oil. a linear fatty acid containing 22 carbon atoms and 6 double bonds, only the 22:6Δ4c, 7c, 10c, 13c, 16c, 19c isomers of the n-3 family are present in large amounts in fish oil in natural form (occupied 10% to 15% of the total amount of fatty acids). Animal glycerophospholipids contain unequal amounts of this acid, which can be produced by alpha-linolenic acid during metabolism in the body, but produced in lower amounts, mainly through food supplementation.
